What are standard parts?

Standard parts refer to commonly used parts whose structure, dimensions, drawings, and markings have been fully standardized and are manufactured by specialized factories. National or industry standards specify their manufacturing, dimensions, and inspection. Manufacturers have corresponding molds and engage in mass production. Examples include threaded parts, keys, pins, and rolling bearings. Highly standardized and widely used mechanical parts and components are also known as general-purpose parts.
Broadly speaking, this includes standardized fasteners, connecting parts, transmission parts, sealing parts, hydraulic components, pneumatic components, bearings, and springs. In a narrower sense, it only includes standardized fasteners. The commonly used term "standard parts" in China is a shortened form of "standard fasteners", representing a narrow concept, but the broader concept cannot be excluded.
In addition, there are industry standard parts, such as automotive standard parts and mold standard parts, which also belong to the broader category of standard parts.
